By typing my name in the box above, I acknowledge and commit to being present at all meetings scheduled by the administration team, unless prior notice is given or in the case of an emergency. These meetings are essential for communication, planning, and ensuring we are all aligned in our efforts. Dates will be provided at least two weeks in advance to allow for proper planning.
I also commit to taking my role seriously in both the designated prayer and fasting schedule, as well as in my personal time. I understand the importance of setting an example for the teams and children I will be leading.
Furthermore, I agree to respectfully submit to leadership, actively participate in all assigned activities, and come prepared to contribute to the success of the camp.
If you feel unable to commit to these expectations, we kindly ask that you reconsider your involvement in VBS this year. We approach our camps with dedication and care, and we rely on every team member to help create a meaningful and well-organized experience.

This Release and Waiver of Liability releases Slavic Gospel Church, a nonprofit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Washington and each of its directors, officers, employees, and agents. The Volunteer desires to provide volunteer services for Slavic Gospel Church and engage in activities related to serving as a volunteer, at VBS (Wonder Junction 2025) at Slavic Gospel Church.
Volunteer understands that the scope of Volunteer’s relationship with Slavic Gospel Church is limited to a volunteer position and that no compensation is expected in return for services provided by Volunteer; that Slavic Gospel Church will not provide any benefits traditionally associated with employment to Volunteer; and that Volunteer is responsible for his/her own insurance coverage in the event of personal injury or illness as a result of Volunteer’s services to Slavic Gospel Church.
WAIVER AND RELEASE: I, the Volunteer, release and forever discharge and hold harmless Slavic Gospel Church and its successors and assigns from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind of nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from the services I provide to Slavic Gospel Church. I understand and acknowledge that this Release discharges Slavic Gospel Church from any liability or claim that I may have against Slavic Gospel Church with respect to bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from the services I provide to Slavic Gospel Church or occurring while I am providing volunteer services.
INSURANCE: Further I understand that Slavic Gospel Church does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide me with financial or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health, or disability benefits or insurance. I expressly waive any such claim for compensation or liability on the part of Slavic Gospel Church beyond what may be offered freely by Slavic Gospel Church in the event of injury or medical expenses incurred by me.
MEDICAL TREATMENT: I hereby Release and forever discharge Slavic Gospel Church from any claim whatsoever which arises or may hereafter arise on account of any first-aid treatment or other medical services rendered in connection with an emergency during my tenure as a volunteer with Slavic Gospel Church.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I understand that the services I provide to Slavic Gospel Church may include activities that may be hazardous to me including, but not limited to involving activities. As a volunteer, I hereby expressly assume risk of injury or harm from these activities and Release Slavic Gospel Church from all liability.
PHOTOGRAPHIC RELEASE: I grant and convey to Slavic Gospel Church all right, title, and interests in any and all photographs, images, video, or audio recordings of me or my likeness or voice made by Slavic Gospel Church in connection with my providing volunteer services to Slavic Gospel Church.
OTHER: As a volunteer, I expressly agree that this Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Washington and that this Release shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington. I agree that in the event that any clause or provision of this Release is deemed invalid, the enforceability of the remaining provisions of this Release shall not be affected.
VOLUNTEER BEHAVIOR: Further I understand that Slavic Gospel Church does not permit any use of alcohol, drugs or other substances/weapons that might harm the volunteer or those involved in the event. Slavic Gospel Church does not permit any form of physical/sexual abuse or foul language involving sexual comments to other volunteers or participants on church property or camp property. As a volunteer at this camp I adhere to providing all information of any knowledge of the above mentioned behaviors to church leadership, and understand that any discovery of such behaviors will result in immediate removal of volunteer or self from the premises and/or Slavic Gospel Church Kids Ministry.
